1. About the service

pilot.report is an information platform for pilots, aircraft owners and buyers: a verifiable aircraft history, listings, ferry, transport and cost-sharing, logbook, career and community. The platform connects parties and provides tools, but is not a party to your deals, nor an air carrier, broker or agent.

2. Account

Actions on the platform require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide and for keeping your account secure. You can register by email or via Google sign-in. Provide real information — the platform is built on verifiability.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't post false, misleading or someone else's data about aircraft or flight hours.
• Don't use the platform for fraud, spam, automated scraping or circumventing protections.
• Don't violate other users' rights or applicable aviation law.

We may hide content or restrict an account that breaks these rules.

4. Listings and deals

Listings are posted by users; the author is responsible for their accuracy and legality. Deals are made directly between the parties. Automated escrow is not yet enabled — at this stage parties settle between themselves, and the platform does not guarantee performance. Verify your counterparty and the subject of the deal.

5. Cost-sharing and ferry

Flights in the "Cost-sharing" and "Transport" sections are private (leisure). Only the flight's direct costs are shared (fuel, fees, aircraft rental); the pilot makes no profit and pays at least an equal share. This is not commercial carriage. The pilot in command is responsible for compliance with their jurisdiction's rules.

6. Content and intellectual property

Content you upload (text, photos, aircraft data) stays yours; by posting it you grant the platform the right to display it within the service. News items are original rewrites with mandatory source attribution; do not copy others' text or images without rights.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". We aim for accurate data but do not guarantee completeness and are not responsible for decisions made on its basis, nor for the actions of other users. To the extent permitted by law, the platform's liability is limited.

8. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or of the law.

9. Changes to the terms

These terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date; continued use means acceptance of the updated version.
