Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 provides pilots with the opportunity to practice flights over one of New Zealand's most scenic areas — Fiordland National Park. The simulator reproduces the complex terrain with high mountains, deep valleys, and narrow passages between fjords.

To explore the region, it is recommended to use the De Havilland Beaver — a classic bush aircraft perfectly suited for flying in confined spaces and requiring high pilot proficiency. The Beaver is frequently used in real-world aviation in remote areas to deliver passengers and cargo to remote locations.

Such a virtual flight allows pilots to develop navigation skills in complex terrain, practice short takeoffs and landings, and study New Zealand's geography without the need to book an expensive real-world flight.
